The efficient use of energy is a key component of the energy transition and essential for achieving climate protection goals. During our many years of work in this area, we have often been surprised by the existing efficiency potential, but also by the fact that the potential is often unused. The reasons for this are varied and include a lack of prioritisation or resources, lack of confidence that the planned savings can actually be achieved and the lack of comprehensive and independent solutions in this area with consistent responsibilities. With the ENCORE approach, we want to overcome these hurdles, achieve maximum efficiency improvements up to CO₂ neutrality within the scope of long-term partnerships with our customers – and thus make a contribution to climate protection.
