ENCORE Efficiency

“The Limits to Growth” was published in 1972 by the Club of Rome. In 1973, the oil crisis put an end to any notion of an unlimited supply of cheap energy that may have existed previously. 50 years later, however, we are still using energy wastefully in almost all areas of life. Climate protection demands and Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine are forcing Europe to undergo a fundamental reorganization in a very short period of time. Everything is being put to the test, but nothing is being demanded as urgently as the more efficient use of energy. The potentials for such an approach are enormous, but so are the demands: Germany’s primary energy demand alone must drop dramatically by 2030.

The dena study “Towards Climate Neutrality”, for example, calculates a necessary reduction from today’s 3650 terawatt hours to 2450 terawatt hours in 2030. The same picture emerges for Europe as a whole. More than 30% efficiency gains are necessary in a period of about 8 years. Is that even possible? ENCORE Efficiency offers a path to climate neutrality with its ENCORE programme for commerce and industry. A large number of references and successfully implemented efficiency measures show that energy efficiency is not an abstract idea, but something that is put into practice on a daily basis. Let us and our ENCORE services convince you.
